RestoParts Fuel Tank Strap Hardware Kit 1964-1967 GTO Chevelle Cutlass Skylark
One of the more unique nut and bolt sets is the one that holds the gas tank and its straps in place. Now, RestoParts has them for A-Body cars, including the special nuts and correct-length bolts. This set of nuts and bolts works for all A-Body models except station wagons.
Also included is the rubber strap material that prevents metal-to-metal wear between the straps and gas tank due to vibrations. The seals go between the steel straps and the gas tank. They also prohibit annoying squeaks usually heard after removing and reinstalling the tank for repair or replacing it with a new one. Each kit includes both sides.
