Description
Rubber bushings the snap into the hole of the shifter lever to take up the slop between the lever and the rod that goes in the hole. Used on the shifter lever which is a part of the shifter
As time passes, these bushings wear out and can become very loose.
From 1970-1979, this was the actual bushing that was used in all the shifter arms and replaced the earlier molded end. All 1970-1979 GM were originally equipped with these bushings, and if not replaced when worn out, the shifter can wear out.
