Description
Drum Brake 10 PSI Residual Valve Kit For Drum/Drum brake applications. This valve is generally used on the rear drum brake lines to hold 10 PSI of pressure in the line when the master cylinder is located below the floor, or the wheel cylinders or valves are higher than the master cylinder.
The function of the valve is to prevent the back flow of fluid to the master cylinder and keep a small amount of pressure in the line. These are generally used in modified cars, musclecars, street rods and customs. The valve has pipe thread fitting in the ends that accepts the common 3/8-24 inverted flare brake line fitting.
