Description
This gas cap is used on many GM models from 1964-1970 including GTO, Firebird, Catalina, Bonneville. These cars were made in many different assembly plants and GM had many vendors. So there are several caps that are common to the cars. This cap seemed to be used most of the time but was never offered as a service item or replacement cap. The other style cap that we make was another of the originals and was offered as a service replacement and in the 60's & 70's was in every auto parts store in the country. This CAP was not it only came on the brand new cars and was never available NOS. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IT IS OFFERED.
Now your original car can have the correct cap that it left the factory with. This is exact to the original with the ribs on the sides of the cap and the correct rivet with the S for the manufacture mark and it is plated in the correct silver Zinc.
